Call for Contributions — AI Days 2026

The Swiss AI Center for SMEs and the HES-SO University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland are pleased to announce the Call for Contributions for the upcoming AI Days 2026, which will take place from 23 to 25 March 2026 in Martigny and Fribourg.

Now in its fourth edition, the event will once again bring together AI researchers, entrepreneurs, SMEs, developers, and practitioners from across French-speaking Switzerland to exchange on applied and impactful Artificial Intelligence.

A space for exchange and innovation

The AI Days serve as a platform to showcase real-world applications of AI and to foster collaboration between academia and industry.
Through presentations, workshops, and discussions, the event highlights how artificial intelligence can create tangible value for companies and society.

Topics of interest

Specific topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Ethical AI: responsible, transparent, and explainable AI

  • Privacy, safety, and security in AI

  • Sustainability and AI

  • Industrie 4.0 and AI

  • Healthcare, MedTech, and AI

  • AI tools, infrastructure, and development

  • Edge and distributed AI

  • Sovereign and multilingual AI

  • Multimodal AI

  • GenAI / LLM

  • AI maturity in SMEs

Contribution formats

Experts from academia, industry, and organizations are invited to submit contributions in one of the following formats:

  • Peer-reviewed papers – separate call coming soon

  • Tracks / Mini-symposia – collections of talks, keynotes, and discussions

  • Presentations – 30-minute talks showcasing concrete AI applications or collaborations

  • Hands-on workshops / Tutorials – 2h, 4h, or 1-day sessions designed to foster learning and collaboration

  • Posters & demos – A0 format, highlighting applied AI work

Key dates

  • Submission deadline: 24 November 2025

  • Notification: 1 December 2025

  • Final programme: End of January 2026

  • Event: 23–25 March 2026 (Martigny & Fribourg)
