Why it matters

  • Faster, data-driven simulation: Diffusion models can speed up scenario testing by generating high-quality, conditioned time series for complex energy systems.

  • Actionable efficiency at scale: Retrofit-friendly monitoring makes it feasible to track and improve energy use across multi-building campuses and districts.

These contributions reflect our mission at iCoSys (HEIA-FR / HES-SO): bridging advanced AI methods with practical applications in energy systems and the built environment.
