Congratulations to Sébastien Rumley for his nomination as member of the organization committee of the Sustainable Computing Workshop 2025 (SCW25).

The Sustainable Computing Workshop (SCW) 2025 will be part of the 22nd ACM International Conference on Computing Frontiers (CF’25), held in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, from May 28-30, 2025. The workshop focuses on the sustainability challenges of computing systems in academia and industry. Accepted papers will be published in the ACM conference proceedings. Topics include impact assessments, lifecycle analyses (LCA), and tools for evaluating the environmental, social, and economic effects of computing systems. Themes also cover ecodesign strategies, such as repair, reuse, recycling, and circular economy integration. Papers may explore sustainable hardware and software methodologies, low-energy designs, and technologies like AI, quantum computing, and power-efficient systems. Submissions should address one or more of the three sustainability pillars: environmental, economic, and social.
