The Swiss Center for Augmented Intelligence (SCAI) is a pioneering initiative focused on leveraging augmented intelligence for the greater good. Supported by the Swiss Capital Region, SCAI stands as a national center of excellence, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in the AI sector.

Vision

SCAI envisions navigating the complexities of AI, supporting the transition towards enhanced human-AI collaboration. The goal is to democratize augmented intelligence to foster human sustainability in the AI era, shaping AI to serve humanity and empowering individuals to thrive in an AI-driven world.

Mission

SCAI aims to:

  • Promote Sustainability and Equality: Develop AI solutions that enhance sustainability, equality, and well-being through a collaborative approach.
  • Support SMEs: Assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in integrating AI by assessing their readiness and providing personalized roadmaps for successful adoption.
  • Advance Ethical AI: Create human-centered, ethical, ergonomic, safe, and sovereign AI frameworks.
